Another finished piece

This was a piece I created at Nancy's workshop. I have finished the quilting on it. I made it in the vertical orientation, this way...

...or this way...

...or maybe it should be horizontal. What do you think?

Here is what some of the quilting looks like on the back. Very dense again. I also used a striped fabric on the back.

Definitely vertical! I prefer the second orientation.

The second way.

The dark at the top makes it look top heavy to me.

Here is another vote for the second way. This looks like knees going up a staircase. I am reminded of "Nude Descending a Staircase," but is your case the nude is ascending.

So this is what you do in a Nancy Crow workshop? Very good work!

I love the dense quilting. The second orientation feels the most balanced to me.

I am surprised to see that everyone, so far, is in agreement. The second vertical orientation. I agree!

Verticle; in switching back & forth between the two images; my eye immediately is pleased with the verticle orientation. Nice work!

Me too. I think the 2nd vertical quilt seems the most balanced.

I just tuned in - what a WONDERFUL piece. I agree with everyone else and definitely think the 2nd version is the best of the three orientations. Your work is really impressive!
