Candy Canes

I made these candy canes today using this easy tutorial. They are cute, but they are a bit fuzzy. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about fuzzy candy canes. It's like someone licked them and set them on the carpet. Maybe I should borrow some Sculpey from my daughter and make some hard ones, or use beads, or glass would be cool (I don't do glass). What do you think of fuzzy candy canes?
