Yesterday morning I woke up and found this on my dresser. I'm sure it was placed there the evening before, but I went to bed late and it was dark (didn't want to wake up Frank by turning the light on). It was a great thing to wake up to. I guess I'm not doing too poorly in my parenting skills. I will keep it and maybe show it to Anna when she is a teenager and probably won't feel the same way.

Anna has the look of a very sweet, loving child. It's that innocent smile. And this sweet gesture. You are a lucky Mom and are justified in taking pride in your parenting skills! By the way, definitely keep this. I so love the little things like this my children made. When they are in their '30s it's hard to remember them as children, until you see something like this.
Don't think I ever got one of these but sure wish I'd saved or at least photographed many of your early artworks.
