A Conversation

I was talking to my Nia instructor before class on Tuesday.  It came up that my birthday was last Saturday. 
She said, "Did you turn . . .45?"
"No, 43." I said.
"Oh." I think she might have felt like it was a little faux pas for thinking I was older.
I said, "It's just a number.  I don't feel that old."
"But you feel wise." she said.
"I feel wiser." I said.
Then I added, "The wiser I get, the less I know."
