Here it is, February. I bet you are all sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what I have chosen to do each day this month. Without further ado, I bring you Plant-a-day!

I've decided to do one fabric drawing a day of some kind of plant or part of a plant.  And I will probably not have any idea what the name of the plant is, like this one above.  I have a pile of 6 x 6" fabric squares cut with some batting.  I'm using up scraps of fabrics but the background fabric will all be a neutral tan or cream with and without prints.  I will use black thread for the drawing.  At the end, I might add color and more background stitching to finish off the squares.  But for now, it's just the plant drawing a day.
