Stomp

On Sunday, Anna and I went to see the Stomp performance. I had seen them once before when they came to Boise, but Anna had not seen them. It was very enjoyable. It is group that does "percussion, movement and visual comedy." And they use everyday things to make their sounds, like: trash cans, brooms, newspaper, pots and pans, etc. I love it. It makes me want to come home and start banging on things.

Anna had her own stomp-like performance several weeks ago at school. After choir had ended they had a four week session of drumming which was taught by a local place called Drum Central. They worked with the kids to do movements, songs and drumming.
