Good job with the flowers. I just couldn't seem to get them to turn our right.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11561464255559358535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9195767203341007367.post-64444793498066633362008-11-12T09:35:00.000-07:002008-11-12T09:35:00.000-07:00Use a strip of matching fabric as a tie and attach...Use a strip of matching fabric as a tie and attach one or two as package decorations.

Years ago women made whole quilts of them (yo-yo quilts). They were put over a neutral (often white) bedspread as a colorful and decorative item. You will find they sometimes carry big prices at the antique stores.

Along with the quilt, same idea applies for pillow covers to add a cute and decorative punch to a room.

Fifteen years ago I bought a cute little pin in Canada made from two small ones clustered together with colorful buttons in the center. The lady had made three green fabric leaves to set it off. The whole was attached (glued?) onto an oval of felt and a pin attached so one could wear it. Great fun and would make a wonderful little teachers gift.

PatsyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9195767203341007367.post-8552867239220439162008-11-10T21:04:00.000-07:002008-11-10T21:04:00.000-07:00Add some green, and I think they'd make a great wr...Add some green, and I think they'd make a great wreath. And I can see them in some kind of springy home dec project, too.Beverlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08679598993090941074noreply@blogger.com
